Every woman after menopause is at risk for osteoporosis. Fractures of the hip and spine are major causes of disability in elderly women and men. Our osteoporosis evaluation is performed as part of the women’s health exams and or during office visits for any other problem. The evaluation is designed to detect osteoporosis in women in order to help them prevent possible disability.
